VWAC held annual party

In the Spring Festival approaching, VWAC held annual party in the morning of January 26, 2024 successfully.

The general manager commercial Mr. Harmann and the general manager technical Mr. Kuipers expressed their New Year’s blessing for all VWAC’s employees: “We wish you and your family a happy Chinese New Year!” They also summarized 2023’s performance of VWAC: “We’ve come a long way, achieving key milestones, and overcoming significant challenges in 2023.” Finally, both of them showed their expectation for the coming year in Chinese: “如龙跃跃！（as powerful as a dragon）全年兴旺！(prosperity all year round)”

After speech, it came dragon parade. Dragon parade is a traditional ceremony praying for safety and good harvest. VWAC prepared dragon parade for the advent of the year of dragon, for expressing best wishes for VWAC’s production and all employees’ health and work, which showed new image of new year and VWAC’s humanistic care.

Dragon parade ended with people’s loud cheers and applauses. A lot of group photos were taken to record the significant moments. Employees enjoyed delicious snacks, drinks and special lunch which contained Chinese traditional snacks—baked sweet potatoes and ice-sugar gourd. All these details with VWAC’s gifts–dragon dolls and couplets created lively festive atmosphere.
