The trees thrive and the family travel. The sun shone brightly on June 3, 2023 at Volkswagen (Anhui) Components Co., Ltd. (VWAC), and also lit up the love and warmth of each family in Family Day. With the fully support of VWAC employees and their families, the first Family Day was held as scheduled.

As one of the most important activities of VWAC in 2023, Family Day not only strengthens the cohesion and sense of belonging within each other, but also enhances the communication and interaction between VWAC and employees’ families. During this activity, wonderful clown performance, joyful game challenges and close plant tour, all kinds of rich activities show a colorful picture of VWAC’s innovation and challenge, vitality and warmth to employees and their families.

Creative Sign-in

At the sign-in area, employees and their family members painted the lush “family tree” with their warm palms.

The flowers are blooming and the life is vibrant. Under the shade of “family tree”, with the sound of laughter, VWAC witnessed countless touching and sincere moment in this hot early summer.

Opening Speech

On the main stage, the opening speech brought the atmosphere to a climax, Mr. Kuipers Jan Kasper, VWAC technical General Manager, and Mr. Oliver Harmann, VWAC Commercial General Manager, expressed a warm welcome and sincere appreciation to the employees and their families. In the speech, Mr. Kuipers Jan Kasper said, “we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all family, friends and supporters of our employees. Your support and encouragement, which is a strong backing for colleagues’ work.” At the same time, Mr. Oliver Harmann also expressed his best wishes “We hope this event will serve as a bridge between company & employee’s families and brings us closer together.”

Plant Tour

With the cheers at the end of the opening ceremony, the roll-up gate of the factory was slowly raised and the Plant Tour departed at the same time. Under the leadership of employee volunteers, a blue flag, a sleeve post and a big screen smoothly connected the employees, their families and the plant.

Colourful Games

Inside the plant is the collision of innovation and technology, outside the plant is the competition of Intelligence and fitness. In main stage area, “Naughty castle” “Ping-pong Shooting” “Crazy Basketball” “Happy Swing” and other entertainment activities are the playground for children to feel the dazzling childhood, is the time machine for adults to return to youth, it is also a magic cassette to record the precious time.

Travel and laugh together with one heart, working side by side for a promising future. Family day is coming to an end, but the steps of “Make Bright Future, With Family And Love” will never stop!
